Garzed (“the Service”) is a garden irrigation management application operated by Garzed LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Access to Garzed requires an invite code during the early access period. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access at any time for any reason.
You sign in using a third-party provider (Google or email magic link). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. Do not share invite codes that have been assigned specifically to you.
Garzed connects to third-party hardware (Rachio smart valves, Ecowitt soil sensors and weather stations) using your API credentials. We store these credentials securely to operate the Service on your behalf. We are not responsible for hardware malfunctions, incorrect sensor readings, or damage caused by automated watering decisions. You should monitor your garden and hardware regularly.
Automated watering is provided as a convenience based on soil-moisture sensor data and weather conditions. Garzed does not guarantee the accuracy of sensor readings, watering decisions, or garden outcomes. You are responsible for overseeing your garden and irrigation setup. By enabling automation, you accept the risk of over-watering, under-watering, or equipment issues.
Garzed offers free and paid tiers. Paid plans are billed annually or monthly as displayed at the time of purchase. Founding member pricing ($29/year) is permanent as long as the subscription remains active. If you cancel a founding membership, the founding rate is not guaranteed on re-subscription. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Do not use the Service to interfere with other users, reverse engineer the application, or access systems or data you are not authorized to access. Do not automate access to the Service beyond its intended use.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Garzed LLC is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to crop loss, property damage, or hardware malfunction. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
